The Spring Hill College volleyball team took a 3-0 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference victory away from Dillard University (1-8, 0-4) on Tuesday afternoon at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.  The Lady Badgers won the match with game scores of 30-23, 30-24 and 30-23.

The first game opened with a 6-1 Lady Badgers run that eventually climbed to a 22-12 advantage.  In Game Two, The Lady Blue Devils from New Orleans staked themselves to a 18-15 lead before Spring Hill battled back to take a 23-21 lead and fought off several Dillard rallies before claiming the second victory of the match.

Game Three saw Spring Hill bolt out to a commanding 24-13 score before Dillard clawed back with a seven-point run to close the score to 24-20.  Spring Hill, however, closed out the final game of the night with a 6 to 3 run.

Spring Hill (4-9, 2-2) will travel to Northwood University in Florida this weekend to play in the West Palm Beach Invitational beginning with Spalding University at 5 p.m. on Friday.
