Versus: University of West Alabama
L 0-3

Spring Hill College dropped a 3-0 decision to the University of West Alabama (9-0) on Wednesday night in their first road contest of the year. The Lady Badgers fell 22-30, 23-30, 24-30 but Head Coach Beth Ring sees the match as a learning experience for her squad. “We were exposed in some places we hadn’t been exposed before, so we’ve learned what we need to do to get better,” she commented, “They (UWA) were a good team – a better team. They had big blockers up front and blocked our hits well.”

Spring Hill (3-1, 1-0) returns home on Tuesday, September 11 at 7 p.m. for a match with cross-town rival, the University of Mobile. “We’ll see how our team reacts to its first loss, but I think our ladies are reacting well,” Ring stated, “We look forward to coming home and getting back to work with what we’ve learned tonight.”
